Visited as part or a road trip to Santa Barbara (another business turned road trip). A friend of ours lives there and showed us to the "Guadalupe Dunes". With what seems like miles of sand hills and valleys this is the location where part of the "Ten Commandments" were filmed. Anyway, these dunes are awesome and a definately a must see for Santa Maria.
The area is also known for their strawberries, wine and angus beef. The strawberries don't disappoint and have spoiled all other strawberries for me. they have an annual strawberry festival that I'm looking forward to attending one of these days. LOL
