Canals of Venice - Visited 3/2005
Venice was beautiful and traveling through the city on boats of all kinds is a romantic idea. However, when the sun hits the polluted (you cannot see ANYTHING through it) water just right you got the wiff of sewage. We were there in the winter time so there were less crowds and it was not hot. Definitely not a trip I'd want to make in the summer time.
